SABR

SABR Analytics Conference - placed 1st in our room and 2nd overall in the Diamond Dollars competition. Built predictive models using XGBoost and KNN modeling to analyze player valuation and performance trends.

Saberseminar — presented original research on MLB's most underrated pitch, the splitter. Applied kernel density estimation to model pitch movement distributions and effectiveness across counts, handedness, and game situations.

Magnet Ball

Magnet Ball — a browser-based game where you control Tyrese Haliburton using keyboard inputs, using magnetic forces to attract and repel a ball around the court.
Built with Python and Pygame.

Heatmap

SMT Data Challenge — built an interactive heatmap using spatial functions to analyze optimal outfielder positioning for cutoff throws. Leveraged minor league tracking data to compute throw efficiency metrics and visualize fielding strategy.
